Philippe is Head of Real Estate Debt in the Alternative Debt Management team at BNP Paribas Asset Management. He joined BNP Paribas Asset Management in March 2017 from Acofi where he was head of CRE debt funds and was responsible for managing investments in commercial real estate loans in Europe from 2013. Previously he was at CBRE, the property consultancy firm, where he set up the Debt Advisory business for France. He advised property investors on their loan issuances and loan restructurings, as well as financial institutions on their CRE loan sales in Europe. He began his banking career as a structured finance banker for Commerzbank in Paris and then for ABN Amro in London. He gained experience in arranging non-recourse loans on various asset classes including property and NPLs, structuring CMBS and CLOs and then originating real estate loans in Europe. Philippe holds a Master's degree in Corporate Finance from EM Lyon business school (2001) and a Master's degree in Business Law from Université Jean Moulin (2000).
